Where is a good tutorial for making signatures in Photoshop Elements 5.0 for ABSOLUTE BEGINNERS?

I have Photoshop Elements 5.0, and I have no idea how to use it because it is so different from regular photoshop. I am an absolute beginner, and so there can be NO skipped steps. I want to learn how to make signatures, and layers, and everything. So please help me!
