Is it legal to resell student licensed software?
I just bought a student licensed version of Adobe Photoshop CS3 Extended for Windows through my university. I recently decided, however, that I'm going to be purchasing a Mac in the near future. I'd rather not run the Windows version of Photoshop through Boot Camp or Parallels, and would rather just buy the Mac version of Photoshop (I want to get the most out of my Mac). Would it be illegal for me to resell my student licensed version of Photoshop?
Read the EULA for the Adobe product. Microsoft LICENSES their products to the original owner. I suspect Adobe does too. IIWY I'd just keep it, look for Gimp online and see if it runs on the Mac. It should, the Mac is Linux kernel.
And, let me clue you. In the real world you don't want anything to do whatsoever with shops that use Macs. Trust me.
