How do you add dynamic lighting and shadows to a photo in Photoshop?
I want to draw my nepthews from a portrait photo i received. However the image is mostly flat with just grey shadows. I want some contrasting tones and some bright highlights and dark shadows.
How would I achieve this on Photoshop?
Try going to image>adujstments>levels and playing with the sliders until you get the desired effect. Also, check out image>adjustments>curves and play with that too. It'll take a bit of trial and error to figure things out though.
