where can I get trained in painting with Photoshop?
I know the basics...masking and basic manipulation, photo work, etc... but I want to learn how to really paint from start to finish. I've seen so many online tutorials that skip over all the details of techniques and step by step, and I know Lynda.com offers training, but nothing in this detailed area of painting to get the ability to create cartoons and detailed realism. Just you tube videos and blogs are all I've found, and many are by people who create a final product that isn't impressive. Also, I looked around where I live in Vegas and I've only found Photoshop training for photographers!! I hate it!
Photoshop IS for photographers and IS NOT for painters.
Maybe you should look at a painting software.
